GHEC students plan fundraiser

The junior and senior classes at Granada-Huntley-East Chain High School invite the public to a community supper fundraiser from 5-7 p.m. Friday in the school cafeteria in Granada. The menu will include hot dogs and chips, tacos, and chili and breadsticks. Funds raised from this event will go toward the junior/senior class trip to Chicago in the spring.

Welcome Legion to host cribbage tourney

St. Paul’s to host Christmas concert

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Fairmont will host a Christmas concert 4 p.m. Sunday at the church. The St. Paul mixed choir, bell choir, high school bell choir and Sunday School choir will perform. Following the concert, a candlelit soup supper will be served. Cost is a donation. The meal is sponsored by a Thrivent Action Team. All are welcome.

Sherburn pool to offer group lessons

The Martin County West indoor swimming pool in Sherburn will offer non-traditional small group swimming lessons in a concentrated format beginning Jan. 2. For more information, contact
