Red Rock plans Tuesday event
A Lunch with the Arts program event featuring holiday music by Bill Busse, Joyce Schultz and Sandy Ettesvold, will be held noon Tuesday at the Red Rock Center for the Arts, 222 E. Blue Earth Ave., Fairmont. Bring a sack lunch if desired. Holiday treats will be served. This is free and open to the public.
Martin County Library to host teen event
All teens are invited to join Amber for a Read-A-Latte event 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Graffiti Corner, 1500 S. State St. in Fairmont. Come enjoy a free fro-yo treat and share with other teens on what you’re reading, watching or listening to. For questions, call the library at (507) 238-4207.
Minnesota Valley Chorale to hold concerts
The Minnesota Valley Chorale, a group of dedicated vocalists from the Mankato and surrounding communities, will host their Christmas concert titled “The Word Became Flesh” featuring “O Magnum Mysterium” by Morten Lauridsen and other holiday favorites 7:30 p.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church in St. Peter, and 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Bethany College, Trinity Chapel in Mankato. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased from any MVC member, at the door, or The Lighthouse Christian bookstore in Mankato.
